And I’m glad she did, because she didn’t just pull my behind out of a fire (studio time is expensive y’all!) and rescue our long-planned episode with celebrity chef Carla Hall, whose solo show Please Underestimate Me is in the spotlight this episode. Gilbert also brought her distinct chaos-muppet energy to the conversation — and in so doing, demonstrated exactly why we’ve built this show around the anchor of a rotating co-host.
